I’m going to Sydney for the next two weeks on a work experience adventure. Yay!
In between photocopying, making coffee and pretending I’m a real PR person I hope to male it to a few gigs and hunt down cheap Sydney food (if it actually exists).
If you have any suggestions of things to do or want to keep updated, you can tweet me @eskeletonmusic
Also, Sydney Luna Park gives me nightmares.
I’m going to be on the radio!
That’s right folks, now you can hear me ramble on about music rather than just read it online.
Expect lots of indie music, rambling about how awesome Colin Meloy is and more unprofessionalism that you can poke a stick at.
So how can you listen to this (epic) radio show?
If you’re in Melbourne you can tune into 90.7 fm from 10am-12pm Monday to Friday. You can’t listen online, which is a bit of a pain.
The show is called The Awkward Stage and it will last for 5 days. I’m doing it with two girls called Rosie and Nat and we’ve just met and have never been on the radio before. What could go wrong?
Hi guys. Sorry about the chronic lack of posting over the past couple of weeks, it’s been absolutley mental latley.
It’s the last week of term and it seems that all of my teachers have gone “shit(or golly or geewiz or whatever teachers say nowadays), it’s the last week of term. We better organise as many SACs as possible.”
So it’s been a fun week full of study, homework, freaking out and trying to brain for two periods straight. Unfortunatly this doesn’t leave time for the things I actually want to do, and this includes blogging.
Things are starting to settle down a bit and I have a couple of reviews and stuff I would like to post, which will hopefully happen before I go to Thailand at the end of the week(epic win!).
I have a feeling I’ve been neglecting this blog a little bit lately so I just wanted to let you all know I’m still alive.
I’ve been sick with what I though was a bad cold, which in the end turned out to be the sinus infection from hell. To make matters worse they’ve given me three chioces of antibiotics: ones that I’m allergic to, ones that don’t work and ones that make me throw up. It’s been awesome.
I’ll make it up to you all when I’m better. I have permission to post songs by Beerjacket, Philidelphia Grand Jury and the newest Dew Process signing, Alberta Cross. I also have Howling Bells and Eskimo Joe CDs to review.
I might post the odd dodgy post or two while I’m still sick but at the moment I can’t even write something like this without feeling dizzy so don’t expect much.
