New Video and Tour for Children Collide

What is it with bands choosing to release interactive videos? There seem to be quite a few coming out latley. Not that I’m complaining, they put a fun twist on the typical music video, although I’m not sure how they’ll go on Rage…

It’s no secret that I absolutley love Children Collide and was extremely exctited when I found out that their next single would be Chosen Armies, one of the best songs off their The Long Now album. The video is interactive and is a 360 degree panorama that lets you choose what you see. It can be found here.

One Night Stand With Children Collide

Every year Australia’s national youth broadcaster, Triple J, puts on a free concert in a regional area.

This year the concert will be held in Sale, Victoria on the 30th of May.

The bands that have been announced so far are Eskimo Joe, The Butterfly Effect and Children Collide.

This latest addition is probably the most exciting of the three. Chilren Collide play loud rock music about cannibals, spaceships and robots. While this may sound strange on paper, they put on an excellent live show and their debut album The Long Now was one of the best releases of last year.

They’re going to America for a tour in the near future and they are definatly worth seeing live.
